Jobs and Job Postings

We heard that feedback and have created a job listing group for chapter members using Yahoo!® Groups. The intent of this group is to provide a mechanism to share open positions for professionals seeking positions. Group membership is open to any member of the PMI - Madison/South Central Wisconsin Chapter. Job postings may be submitted by anyone. Currently, the group is private (not viewable to the public) and moderated (all postings and membership must be approved by a moderator).

How do I join the group?

You can join by entering your email address below and clicking the "Join Now" button. Another option is to send an email to pmi-madison-job-postings-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. You will receive an automated response. Click on the link in the email to confirm that you would like to join the group.

When confirming you would like to join the group, follow one of the two options below:

Receive emails (mailing list)
Once you click on the link to confirm that you would like to join the group, choose join the mailing list instead at the bottom of the webpage. Once the moderators approve your membership, you will begin to receive emails from the group.

Browse the website
Once you click on the link to confirm that you would like to join the group, choose Join the Group on the webpage. If you do not already have a Yahoo!® Groups account, you will be prompted to create one. If you have an account already, log in. Once the moderators approve your membership, you will receive an email notification and will be able to log into the website and view the message archives.

Why is the group moderated?  Won’t I get a lot of spam in my mailbox?  Is it private?

The group is moderated for several reasons. Having moderators approve membership in the group ensures that only Madison/South Central Wisconsin Chapter members can join the group. Outside individuals will not be able to see member details, including email addresses. This keeps group membership information private among members of the chapter. Having moderators approve all posts to the group ensures that only messages consistent with the group’s intent will be posted.

I have a position I'd like to Post - what do I do?

Send the information directly to the list at pmi-madison-job-postings@yahoogroups.com. There will be a slight delay until one of the moderators approves your post.
