The Professional Development Day 2008 is scheduled for Friday, April 18, 2008 at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison, WI. Planning is in progress under Project Manager, Laura Zibell. This year’s theme is “A Taste of Project Management” and promises to be a day filled with not only great learning opportunities, but a lot of fun along the way. Highlights for this year’s event include a post-event networking and social hour as well as the opportunity to earn up to 6 PDU’s. Save the Date! |

The next PMI Madison/South Central Wisconsin PMP Certification Exam Preparation Class will be held March 6, 2008 through May 29, 2008. The course details are available here on our website. The Professional Development Day 2008 (PDD-2008) Project Charter has been formulated. The Project Manager and three Leads for PDD-2008 have been assigned (view announcement here). The 2008 Madison/South Central Wisconsin Professional Development Day will be on April 18, 2008 (Friday), at Monona Terrace in Madison, WI. Please mark your calendar.
Our goal is to make the project team as industry-diverse as possible. Currently, we are looking for a Marketing Lead; and team members for Speaker Selection, Sponsorship, and Facility Arrangements.

Starting October 1, 2007, PMI is accepting application for the PgMP certification. The PgMP credential is PMI’s first credential designed to demonstrate project and program management skills. To be eligible for the PgMP credential, you must meet specific guidelines that objectively measure experience, education and professional knowledge, and undergo a rigorous application process as well as three assessments.
